A pore cleanser is a product made to get rid of excess dirt and oil from your skin, particularly your face and nose. While several over the counter facial washes also refer to themselves as pore cleansers, what will be discussed here will be the dirt suction tool itself, which promises to leave your skin a whole lot cleaner after treatment.
The suction level of pore cleansers is low, so you don't need to worry about taking a chunk of skin off your face. It only targets the dirt and accumulated grime embedded in your pores.
Regularly washing your face does help keep your skin stay clean and healthy. However, the frequent use of pore cleansing tools will help you prevent acne skin problems in the future, because such tools are able to reach deep down into areas lather-based products can't.
Making the most out of the pore cleanser it's best to use a pore cleanser if your pores are open. You can do this by steaming your face over hot water to loosen them up. Just be careful not to stay too long or you might scald yourself. A hot shower is also okay, if you’re not really keen on hunching over a basin of hot water.
Clean your face thoroughly first before you begin extracting. Make sure no excess dirt or makeup is left on your face before you open your pores, as these can aggravate the situation and result in pimples (which are a lot more annoying!). The recommended use of pore cleansers in around two to three times a week. Doing it everyday is not only tedious but might also cause other infections and inflammations.
Where to use the pore cleanser
Much of the deep seated dirt can be found in our cheeks, nose, forehead and chin, so these are the areas you need to concentrate on. Try not to use the pore cleanser on you hairline and eye areas, because your skin is likely to be thinner there. Picking on them might only lead to scarring.
After cleaning your pores, be sure to disinfect and apply moisturizer to soothe your skin. It may feel a little red and tender after the treatment, so you need to make it feel like it has done a good job enduring the pain. Yes, pain. Some of the blackheads and white heads on our skin are so embedded that it will take a while to get them out, even with a fully steamed face and a very good pore cleanser.
Don't force the dirt out if you can't do it in one or two tries. You are not a skin expert and this job is best left to the professionals. Once you've started on a pore cleansing regimen, you'll notice that your skin will become brighter and softer in about two to three weeks. Results vary, though, but you will definitely feel a lot lighter after. Users of pore cleansers have sworn to their effectiveness in gaining softer and brighter skin.

Sexual FAQs - Sperm Cell or Spermatozoa
The mature sperm cell (spermatozoa) is 0.05 milliliters long. It consists of a head, body and tail. The head is covered by the ac cap and contains a nucleus of dense genetic material from the 23 chromosomes.
It is attached from the neck to the body containing mitochondria that supply the energy for the sperm's activity. The tail is made of protein fibers that contract on alternative sides, giving a characteristic wavelike movement that drives the sperm through the seminal fluid, which also supplies additional energy.
Some sperm have two heads or two tails and if the testes are too warm they may die or spermatogenesis may not occur.
Sperm swim at a rate of about 3mm (0.12 inches) per minute. That’s an average, it’s different for every guy. Some sperm cells are 'better' swimmers than others. Why? They need to wave their tales more than 1000 times just to swim 1.25 cm or a half an inch. Why some are better than others is still a mystery to many fertility specialists. Anyway...
Sperm cells are made in the testes where it takes about 72 days for one sperm to grow. Sperm production requires a temperature which is three to five degrees below body temperature. The scrotum has a built-in thermostat, which keeps the sperm at the correct temperature while they’re being stored. If it becomes too cool on the outside, the scrotum will bring the testicles closer to the body for warmth as you probably know from jumping into a cold pool of water or ocean. That’s why the testes hang away from the body -- so sperm can develop at the temperature they need. (95° - 97° F or 35° to 36° C)
Semen contains small amounts of more than thirty elements, including fructose, ascorbic acid, cholesterol, creatine, citric acid, lactic acid, nitrogen, vitamin B12, and various salts and enzymes. Let’s go back to the inside of the head of the sperm. All normal cells have 46 chromosomes but sperm have half that number or, 23. If and when the sperm joins ups with the female’s, egg (ovum) which also has 23 chromosomes, together they add up to 46 chromosomes. The middle section controls the sperms activities. The sperm or (spermatozoa -- which are the little swimming critters) make up only about 5% of what a man ejaculates each time he ejaculates. This represents about 100 to 400 million of them! Therefore, they are very, very, very tiny, in fact a single sperm is the smallest cell in the body. The rest of what a man ejaculates in his ejaculate, which is about a teaspoonful (5 ml), is made up of water, sugar, protein, vitamin C, zinc, and prostaglandins. Semen or seminal fluid is the mixture of sperm and the secretions of the seminal vesicles, prostate gland, and the bulbourethral glands. Over the course of a guy’s life, he’ll produce more than 12 trillion sperm. There’s some sexual health trivia for you.

Benefits from orgasm and kissing? Yes! See Sex Stuff!
Great Looking Skin!
The skin is the largest organ of the body and yet most of us don't do enough to maintain our skin’s health. Americans spend millions on body products every month, but are they buying the right ones? How much do you really know about what your skin needs, what type of skin you have, what kind of soaps and lotions are the best for your skin? What about those products that promise younger-looking, wrinkle-free skin, do they work?
One of your skin’s functions is to eliminate a portion of the body's waste products through sweating. If toxins escape through the skin they disrupt the skin's health integrity. This is one of the key factors behind many skin disorders including acne. The skin also "breathes". If the pores become clogged, the microbes that are involved in causing acne flourish.
Great looking skin is a wonderful thing to have because it's right there on your face, it's kind of hard to hide. The skin also protects our bodies from the outside world. Most of us don't think our skin is so great looking. Even if you were born with a perfect complexion, or one that is not so good, you should make an effort to take care of it correctly. When you are going through adolescence, your body is trying to adjust to changes in the hormone balance, and this affects your skin big time. (For acne concerns, see our Acne section).
Skin Types
There are three basic skin types, but you may find yours isn't exactly like any of those described here. Most skin is a mixture of these types and yours will be no exception. The basic skin types are dry, oily, and combination. Dark skins have a tendency towards greater extremes of dryness and oiliness than paler skins.
Oily skin You can tell if your skin is oily because it usually has a shine to it. It may be prone to black heads and acne. Oily skin contains a lot of sebum which helps prevent the skin from drying out. However, oily skin tends to attract more dirt and dust than dry skin. It benefits from soap and water, so washing with a cleansing bar is an ideal way of caring for it. Use warm water to loosen the dirt, then use cold water to rinse. Use toners and astringents containing alcohol and always use a light, non-greasy liquid cleanser. Very oily skin needs no extra moisturizing at all while you are in your teens.
Dry skin Dry skin looks dry, sometimes flakes, and often feels tight, especially if you have washed it with soap and water. Sometimes it is lacking some of the protective sebum and so it reacts to very hot and very cold weather by tightening up. One benefit of dry skin is that it is less likely to develop acne than oily skin, but it is easily chapped in a dry atmosphere. Always use mild, alcohol-free make up and toner, and a rich, creamy cleanser. Moisturize your face every day, including the throat and the skin around your eyes. When you wear makeup, use a moisturized foundation. You will need little or no powder. When you wash your face, use a liquid or a cleansing bar. Use warm water to lather and rinse it with cold.
Combination skin Most of us have this kind of skin, with an oily center area or a T-zone across the forehead, nose, and chin, and areas of dryness on the cheeks, and around the eyes and neck. Ideally, you should have one product for the oily areas and one for the dry areas, but this is expensive and unnecessary unless the areas of dry and oily are very different. It's simpler to use a cleanser designed for combination skin. Use a skin cleanser for the central oily panel, diluted with water for the drier areas. The drier areas may or may not need moisturizing frequently. You may have to experiment a bit.
Read our section on Tanning to learn more about what the sun really does to your skin! You may be surprised by what you find out. Sure, it looks good now, but one day you will be 40! Remember your sunscreen and don't just put it on when you get to the beach or pool, but two hours before. Use one daily if you live in Florida, Arizona, Texas, Australia and other places where the sun is out most of the time and is very strong. When in doubt, ask your primary care doctor.
If you want to treat yourself and your skin, give yourself a facial. It's not only good for you, if feels great too. You can make a facial from ordinary kitchen goods. Here are two of them, which are inexpensive to make. More of them to come soon!
Honey Facial (do not use this if you are allergic to eggs) 1 tablespoon honey 1 egg yoke 1 teaspoon olive oil
Beat the egg yoke with a fork, add the oil and blend well. Add the honey using a spoon that you have rinsed with hot water and blend well again. Smear it all over your face with your fingers, except do not cover your eyes. Leave it on your face for 15 minutes, then rinse it off.
Cucumber Facial 1 cucumber 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon witch hazel (you can buy this in any drug store) 1 egg white, beaten with an electric beater until fluffy.
Peel the cucumber and run it through a blender or a food processor. Pour the cucumber pulp into a colander or strainer and force it through, catching the liquid that comes out in a bowl underneath. Combine the cucumber liquid with the lemon juice and the witch hazel. Stir it and add the beaten egg white gently. Put it on your face and leave it on for 15 to 25 minutes. Rinse off.
Remember: clean, prevent and treat. This is a good start to a lifetime of healthy skin.

You wake up in the morning, look in the mirror and what's the first thing you see? A new pimple joining its friends on your face. Seems like they're going to have a party? Eck! What to do?
Not to worry, you can stop them! It's not much relief knowing that teens all over the world are waking up to the same sight. Maybe you will feel better if you understand the causes of your unwanted visitors.
What is Acne and Why Do I Have It?
Acne is a general term for pimples and deeper pustules that are clogged pores. If severe enough acne can leave permanent scars. Scarring is what you want to avoid. Stop popping those zits yourself and read this!
Pimples pop up for a lot of reasons. Unfortunately, there are a lot of myths about what these reasons are. Despite what your friends and mom might say, chocolate, French fries and pizza aren't among the causes of pimples. You just don't get pimples from what you eat, unless you are allergic to something and then you get hives not really zits.
Acne is an inflammatory skin disorder of the skin's sebaceous glands and hair follicles that affects about 80% of people between the ages of 12 and 24. During puberty high levels of hormones are produced in both girls and boys. This leads to the production of large quantities of sebum. Sebum is an irritant that can clog the pores and form a pimple which may become infected and form a pustule. Hormones don't go away after adolescence. Many women still get premenstrual acne from of the release of progesterone after ovulation.
The sebaceous glands located in each hair follicle or tiny pit of skin, produce oil that lubricate the skin and keep it soft. Sebaceous glands are found in large numbers on the face, back, chest and shoulders. If this oil becomes trapped, bacteria multiply in the follicle and the skin becomes inflamed.
Acne is NOT caused by dirty pores but most likely by over active oil glands. The excess oil makes the pores sticky allowing bacteria to become trapped inside. Blackheads form when sebum combines with skin pigments and plugs the pores. If scales below the surface of the skin become filled with sebum "white heads" appear.
Dirt, dust, oils and pollution can clog pores too. Eliminate this problem by washing your skin with an oil-free acne wash. In severe cases white heads build up, spread under the skin and rupture, which eventually spreads the inflammation.
Factors that contribute to acne include heredity, oily skin and hormones. Other factors that contribute to acne are allergies, stress, the menstrual cycle, nutritional deficiencies, over-washing and repeated rubbing of the skin.
The Skin
The skin is the largest organ of the body. One of its functions is to eliminate a portion of the body's waste products through sweating. If toxins escape through the skin they disrupt the skin's health integrity. This is one of the key factors behind many skin disorders including acne. The skin also "breathes". If the pores become clogged, the microbes that are involved in causing acne flourish and then you get pimples, blackheads and often inflammation.
What To Do About Zits?
IMPORTANT:NEVER pop or squeeze pimples yourself. You don't have the sterile instruments that a dermatologist uses to do this and he/she knows the proper technique. This can give you lifelong scars! (see the section below about "Seeing a Dermatologist"), but read the rest of this first please.
Once you've cleaned your skin, it's time to work on fighting pimples before they start. Pimples begin when oil and dead skin cells get trapped in pores. So you've got to use products that work inside the pores to help keep them clear. The key is regular daily usage even when your skin looks great. Only using this stuff when you get a pimple won't do your face justice.
There is no single medicine or acne treatment. Treatment should be designed according to your own personal needs. The only way to know for sure which product will work best for your skin is to try it. But remember, no matter what you use the most important thing is to stick with it.
Treatments Include:
Reducing sebum production
Reducing bacteria on the skin
Reducing the inflammation
Exfoliation -- peeling of the skin which unclogs pores; removes dead skin cells and debris
Acne surgery -- by a dermatologist
Hormone-based treatments (these can work well).
Over-the-counter Treatments (OTC) (Stuff you can buy without a prescription)
The active ingredient to look for in the acne products that you see in the drug store or supermarket drug store is benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid. These have an antibacterial effect. Benzoic peroxide comes in 5% and 10%. Start with the lower number to avoid "burning" your skin. You may have to experiment with acne treatments before you find the right OTC products for you. You are using this product to reduce the bacteria on the skin and to exfoliate. Exfoliation works by applying the lotion or wash to dry up the skin and help the dead cells and debris come off. The "Acne Defense" cleansers that you can buy in the market or drugstore help prevent breakouts and keep acne under control.
Antibiotics
Your health care provider may provide an antibiotic, some are to be used on only your skin. Oral antibiotics have an antibacterial effect as well as an anti-inflammatory effect. They all have side effects, so talk to the person prescribing these medications about those. If they do not mention side effects... ASK, you need to know, after all you are the one taking them.
IF you are taking birth control pills -- antibiotics WILL interfere with the effectiveness of the pill. Tell the health care provider what medications you are on, or if you are taking the birth control pill.
Seeing A Dermatologist
A dermatologist, or his or her nurse will use small surgical instruments to open and remove the contents of pustules, cyst or pimples directly. This is done before they burst and cause deeper damage and scarring. It is a quick procedure and often results in dramatic improvement in the skin's appearance after a couple of days of healing. It is not very painful at all. Sometimes it is done on a weekly basis. Talk to your parents about this treatment. It is usually covered by most insurance companies.
Prescription Hormone Treatments
Sometimes your health care provider or a dermatologist may prescribe oral contraceptives for girls to help clear up their skin. Hormones may clear up the skin by slowing down sebaceous gland function. One of the pills known as Ortho Tri-Cyclen, has been shown to improve acne in many young women. Talk to your parents about this and be sure to ask the dermatologist or your health care provider what they think of the idea. It is very important to discuss this with a medical professional who knows you and your medical history.

GREAT PRODUCTS! I LOVE THEM. THEY REALLY WORK - UNLIKE SO MANY OTHER PRODUCTS I HAVE TRIED
Bought for daughter who wanted to get off Acutance, which worked, but she was afraid of side effects. Acne returned. Has been using Clearogen products for several months. They have cleared up the acne without drying her skin. She looks great!
My friend gave me a set of Clearogen to use since I have tried every medication and skin care product for my acne. My last resort was to take Accutane. This has been the only product that has worked! I have spent thousands on peels, microderm abrasion, and skin care products. And nothing worked. I even did Levulan twice with no real results. Clearogen helped without any burning, redness or downtime unlike most of the products or procedures I have done.
You have an unbelievable product! Especially for women! Angelica Avitia
I've already left a phone message, but, thought I needed to let you know by email, too, just how I feel. Your product is so absolutely wonderful and EXACTLY the type of skincare I've been looking for. I'm not sure what's in it that makes it so different from other problem-skin creams, except that I KNOW it works beautifully and perfectly on mine. I've literally spent MANY THOUSANDS of dollars searching for the right product and had practically given up hope and then I found Clearogen! Of course, after so much disappointment, I didn't have very high hopes. The first thing I noticed was that it didn't burn my face at all. So, I figured, great, it can't be working at all. The other thing I noticed was that I wasn't getting RED as I ALWAYS do, with almost ANYTHING! Another sign, I thought, that it wasn't working. So, I didn't offer it much hope. BUT, after a very short time (I didn't count the days as I didn't think I'd have anything to celebrate), but, it was in a short time, my skin started looking so much better! This stuff was actually having some sort of positive effect! And after some months now, it's still working and I absolutely LOVE the product! My skin is great! Well, my prayers seem to have been answered and I hope others out there who suffer with resistant skin problems will give Clearogen a try. I always knew that my skin trouble had something to do with some sort of hormones, but, doctor after doctor have told me I was wrong. Nothing they gave me ever helped in the long run. Even your customer service people were SO GREAT! I did get a defective pump with my first order, but, they were so great in replacing it quickly! I hope that type of service will be consistent, as that makes your products even more attractive. SO! Thanks, again. Keep on doing what you're doing and come up with more great products!
God bless, Shaan B.
I never suffered acne as a teen, except for the occasional pimple, but as an adult my face has small breakouts with redness which I learned is mild acne with rosacea. I have very sensitive skin and have tried many over the counter products as well as some prescription products. They either left my skin very irritated, dry, or in overall worse condition. Clearogen was introduced to me by Dr. Khadavi a few months ago. I was very skeptical to even try the product knowing how sensitive my skin is. I kept the product under my bathroom sick for several weeks. One day I was looking at my face in the mirror, upset of all the small bumps and redness that I finally decided to give Clearogen a try. To my surprise the cleansing foam left my skin feeling fresh and smooth after just one wash. I applied the toner and the same thing happened. I applied the acne lotion to the areas where the bumps were visible and continued this regimen for a week. The redness (rosacea) is fading as well as the acne bumps and on top of it all my skin feels smooth, feels fresh and with out any irritation! I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am with the results. Clearogen actually works, thanks for a fantastic product!

The clearogen looked like a pretty simple procedure to follow 3 easy steps and the results were amazing
Maureen Age 23
I suffer from acne because of the environment that I work in cooking with a lot of oil and heat make my acne worse than it is. I starting using the Clearogen cleanser and it immediately made my skin less oily. I was able to use the product for 1 week and I noticed a clear difference with continued use of the product I believe that I would have greater results with continued use. When can I get some more of this stuff?”
Rick Age 34
As a young women feeling like you have clear skin makes your self esteem so much stronger I have a lot of friends that have pimples and they are not very sure of themselves when it comes to boys. I used the product and it made my skin feel clean all day and I did not have to use that much makeup during the time I used the product. I think its pretty cool.
Shari Age 18
I have tried many different acne products because of the occasional pimple that pops up or the dreaded out break, after a night of parting .I was skeptical because none of them worked in the past. I was given clearogen and although I did not have any pimples during the time I used the product, it did feel different then any other product I have used. I felt like my skin was cleaner and looked better once I applied the lotion and toner I would definitely use the product if it would prevent future out breaks .
William Age 31
I have used Proactive in the past so I was interested to see how it compared. The first time I used it my skin was really dry after I used the Cleanser, Toner and Lotion. I found not to like that to much so I applied more lotion and my skin moisten up a bit. The 2nd and 3rd use of the product proved to be a much better experience. I would say in my opinion it works as good as proactive.

Benzoyl peroxide consists of two benzoyl groups that are joined by a peroxide group and is a chemical belonging to the organic peroxide family. It is a strong bleaching agent and when contacted with hair or fabrics results in color loss almost instantaneously. This is a commonly used drug in the topical treatment of mild to moderate acne.
Benzoyl peroxide is a safe drug and as such can be used by children and also by women during the pregnancy period. Benzoyl peroxide has basically three properties. It acts as an effective antiseptic, and also as an oxidizing agent, and has anti inflammatory action. As an antiseptic it reduces the number of skin surface bacteria and also helps in reduction of yeasts on the surface of the skin.
Benzoyl peroxide is an effective in the treatment of various kinds of acne. This is mostly due to the fact that it unclogs the pore by allowing the outlet of the pore to open, decreasing inflammation on the skin, and killing the acne bacteria. The chemical is applied on the affected area in the form of a gel or cream with a concentration of 10 percent or less. It may cause dryness and irritation.
Some people are sensitive to the drug and as such it is better to use a small quantity in the beginning and gradually increase the quantity so that the skin may get used to the chemical. Alternatively the cream or gel with a 2.5 percent Benzoyl peroxide may be used that is as effective as the 10 percent option if they have a sustained delivery system. Benzoyl peroxide should not be used in pregnant women since it has proven to be unhealthy to the fetus as shown in animal studies.
Clearogen is the first professional acne product based on medications and scientifically proven natural ingredients to clear acne at the first stage of formation… and it works successfully. Formulated by Board Certified Dermatologist Dr. Alex Khadavi, Clearogen works on the root cause at the hormonal level.
Many of the acne products available in the market are "spot treatments" and are designed primarily to get rid of existing pimples with harsh creams and soaps that can cause redness and irritation.
Clearogen Acne Product gets to the root cause by reducing the production of the hormone by-product DHT (Dihydro-Testosterone) which stimulates excessive oil production in the sebaceous glands resulting in acne.
By preventing the buildup of DHT, Clearogen allows the normal oil production vital to healthy skin. No other over the counter product for acne work by this mechanism.
Clearogen is used once a day and wipes out acne in 3 easy steps:
Step 1. Foaming Cleanser: Healthy skin starts with clean skin. Clearogen Foaming Cleanser gently removes dirt, excess oil, make-up and bacteria that cause acne. Botanical extracts revitalize the skin while preventing breakouts. Learn More.
Step 2. Clarifying Toner: Clearogen Clarifying Toner eliminates pore clogging purities allowing balanced oil production, while decreasing pore size, reducing redness, and irritation. Botanical extracts increase skin renewal for silkier, smoother skin. Learn More.
Step 3. Acne Lotion is a lightweight oil-free acne lotion formulated with a ground breaking non-irritating skin refinishing complex that exfoliates the skin, unclogs the pores, attacks acne causing bacteria and soothes inflammation. It clears existing acne and helps prevent breakouts before they even surface on the skin. Clearogen lotion leaves the skin smoother, shine free and hydrated. Learn More.
Acne is the most common skin condition affecting everyone at some point during their life time. Affecting both sexes and all ages from the young to the elderly. acne begins weeks before blemishes become visible on the surface of the skin, and starts within the oil producing glands. Normally these glands produce adequate amounts of oils that keep our skin healthy, shiny and young. In the presence of a body hormone known as DHT (Dihydro Testosterone), however, these glands produce excessive amounts of oil resulting in the formation of acne.
How Acne Develops:
Acne begins with the negative effects of DHT (Dihydro Testosterone) on the oil glands.
1. The Enzyme 5 Alpha Reductase converts Testosterone to DHT .
2. DHT binds to Androgen Receptors on the oil glands.
3. DHT stimulation results in excessive oil production.
4. Excess oil obstructs the skin pores allowing bacterial growth that causes inflammation, infection and visible acne.
Acne is a skin condition that shows up in different ways. Blemishes can include white-heads, blackheads, red bumps (pimples), and bumps that are filled with pus or cysts. What causes these annoying conditions? Skin is covered with tiny holes called pores. Pores contain sebaceous glands (also called oil glands) that make sebum (see-bum), an oil that moistens hair and skin.
Excessive oil production forms a plug called a comedone or whitehead at the opening of the pore. It fits like a cork in a bottle. This plug holds the oil and bacteria inside the oil gland which begins to swell as the skin produces more oil and bacteria. White blood cells swarm around the oil gland to kill the bacteria. The result is a pimple or pustule.
If a pore gets clogged, closes and bulges out from the skin, it is called a whitehead. If a pore clogs up but stays open, the top surface can get dark and produces a blackhead. This is not dirt and won't wash away. The color is due to an oxidation of the plug contents. Sometimes the walls of the pore are actually broken down, allowing sebum, bacteria, and dead skin cells to multiply resulting in a small, red infection called a pimple.
Most people have non-inflammatory acne, a relatively mild form with just a few whiteheads and blackheads. Non-inflammatory acne can be treated very effectively with Clearogen. For those experiencing inflammatory acne, whiteheads become infected with bacteria and swell, producing pimples and pustules. Inflammatory acne can also be treated with Clearogen.
Severe inflammatory acne, however, can cause disfiguring cysts and deep scars and needs to be under a dermatologist's care who may initially use prescription drugs like oral antibiotics or Accutane as well as laser treatments. Once the deep cystic lesions have been treated Clearogen Acne Products can be used to prevent future breakouts thereafter.
The chance of developing acne is affected by many factors. Most importantly, the rate the skin produces oil as determined by the DHT levels, plays a critical role. Because genetics strongly influence the development and persistence of acne, one's family history is important. If ones parents had severe acne, one's acne is more likely to be severe too.
Acne can change one's social life, confidence level, school and job opportunities and even lead to personality disorders. These real life situations, which are traumatic for teenagers and adults to who live with this condition. Acne affects people of all ages and teenagers seem to have the biggest challenges due to hormone changes. Parents can help teenagers by educating themselves about acne and the best methods for treating acne. Skin problems are truly more than skin deep.

There is no permanent cure or acne prevention regime. Even after the blemishes disappear, you must continue to use an effective treatment to prevent acne blemishes and lesions from forming. Daily use of the Clearogen Treatment heals your existing skin and will prevent acne formation and new blemishes.
Care and Prevention for Acne Prone Skin
Avoid over cleansing of skin: Drying products: Alcohol-based astringents and harsh cleansers can actually worsen the condition. When the skin becomes dry, acne prone skin 'compensates' by producing even more oil resulting in more pore clogging.
Avoid picking at the skin: Squeezing and picking at blemishes can not only prolong the infection but cause permanent scarring.
Avoid Greasy Creams and Makeup: Oily makeup and creams clog the pores of the skin resulting in more acne formation. Always purchase skin care products that state "non-comedogenic" to insure that they have been tested for acne prone skin.

Acne is caused by overproduction and clogging of the pore by excessive oil produced by the oil glands. Because the pore is deep within the skin, you can not wash away the pimples, no matter how many times a day you wash or scrub your face.
2) Can blackheads result in scarring?
Blackheads will not result in scaring by themselves. Inflammatory acne or deep cystic acne carries the most potential for scarring but constant picking and popping of blackheads can likewise leave permanent damage.
3) Will Clearogen products help the pimples on my body?
Definitely. Breakouts on the body are most common where oil glands are most prevalent; on the back, chest, and shoulders. Clearogen Acne Lotion will help treat and prevent acne in these areas.
4) What is DHT and why does it the cause of acne?
DHT or Dihydrotestosterone is a hormone by-product produced by both males and females particularly during puberty. As the levels of DHT increase, the oil glands become overly stimulated and result in overproduction of oil. This excessive oil accumulates in the pores and clogs the pores, resulting in acne. Clearogen is the only product to address the excessive DHT with natural botanicals that work to dramatically reduce DHT resulting in normal oil production and oil flow. As such acne can be prevented at the first step.
5) Is squeezing a pimple bad?
Yes. Squeezing or popping pimples spreads bacteria and ultimately results in scars. Popping a pimple could actually make the pimple last longer b/c the skin ends up red and irritated for a longer period. By using Clearogen's acne toner you can help dry the pimple faster with out leaving scars or redness and irritation.
6) Do I need to use Acne spot treatments?
No. The key to acne treatment is PREVENTION . By using the 3 step Clearogen Acne treatment all over your face you can prevent breakouts before they develop while treating the existing acne lesions.
7) Does makeup cause Acne?
Yes. Pore clogging make up or oil-based cosmetics can result or worsen acne. It is wise to always buy makeup that is noncomedogenic; meaning that it won't clog your pores. Using Clearogen foaming skin cleanser, you can gently remove make up while treating your acne.
